Dead Reckoning Vehicle From Land of the Dead

Arnold D. from Maine send along these two views of the anti-zombie vehicle Dead Reckoning from the new George A. Romero movie, Land of the Dead.

Along with the stills, Arnold asked the question: would the future of vampire and zombie hunting involve armored transports like the Dead Reckoning? In the face of a major zombie apocalypse, the answer is yes. A vehicle such as this would be effective, provided there was at least one crow's nest on top for zombie suppression fire. However, no matter how secure your vehicle, you want to move around as little as possible during a major outbreak. Now if the vampires were ever to take over, you'd want a much speedier vehicle than the Dead Reckoning. And of course, you'd only drive it during the day.

Thanks Arnold, for the stills.
