FVZA Weapon Proposal

from Agent Marconi, Canada

As a result of my research on vampire combat, I have developed a metal plated glove that should assist a trained agent engaged in hand-to-hand combat with a vampire.

The most dangerous part of the vampire is its mouth, particularly its teeth. They are its primary weapons, used to tear flesh, grip and feed. Like any attacker, a vampire has to be disarmed to be defeated.

Throughout my personal training in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, I have used an Open Palm Grappling Glove. It is a glove which has an open palm (hence the name), open fingers, wrist supports and 4 oz. of padding covering the fist. With these features I can punch and still have a hand to effectively use to grip and hold.

I modified this glove into a weapon by inserting a fitted steel plate in the padding of the glove. This creates a devastating blow.

The most basic way to use this weapon is to deliver a LEFT or a RIGHT hook to the vampire's canine tooth, knocking it out and crushing the others in the process. As a result, the vampire will not be able to bite, grip and tear flesh as it normally would, leaving it defenseless and vulnerable to attack.

The glove blends into the uniform of the Field Agent and leaves the Agent's hands unrestricted. It could be a very valuable addition to the FVZA Weapons Inventory.

Thank you for your time.
