The FVZA Creed
After Agent Frank Castiglione created the FVZA Creed in 1951, it became a staple of Agency training and literature. For cadets, the importance of the Creed became apparent when they arrived at the Academy. As soon as they got off the bus, a drill sergeant would ask them to recite the Creed. Since very few recruits had the foresight to memorize it before arriving for training, a punitive 5-mile run almost invariably ensued.

As such, I am a member of the most highly-trained fighting force in the world.
I am bound by duty to my Country and my fellow Agents to execute the demands of my position to and beyond what I believe to be the limits of my capabilities.
Although my enemy is powerful and merciless, I will not be afraid.
I will never leave a team member behind, no matter what the circumstances.
I shall carry out my mission unbowed by the weight of command and unswerving in dedication to its most complete success.
Though I know that perfection exists beyond the grasp of any mortal hand, I shall yet strive to attain it that I may ever be aware of my needs and capabilities to improve myself.
I understand that upon completion of my training I will have mastered deadly fighting arts. Great responsibility comes with this, and I will employ my skills only against appropriate targets.
