A promotion is in order

This may be a controversial recommendation, but the benefits of a successful tranquilization are worth the risks. In the early 1960s, several fast-acting tranquilizers were developed for use against werewolves, including Etorphine, an opioid 1,000 times stronger than morphine.

You may be asking, why tranquilize it? Why not kill it? It's a fair question. The answer is simple: since so little was known about werewolves, you just can't pass up a chance to capture a live one for study.

To be sure, there are risks with tranquilizer guns. The darts are vulnerable to wind, and can deflect off a werewolf's thick coat. But a well-aimed shot should put the beast down quickly; at least before it turns and closes on you in a murderous rage.
