I was searching the site here and reading the posts regarding Pistol and Rifle combos. I thought i would interject my two cents.
This is the Ruger Police Carbine, a rifle able to accept the pistol mags from a Ruger P Series Pistol. This rifle can be chambered to either a 9mm or a .40 S&W, both would be easily available in a crisis situation. Sadly it is only available to Law Enforcement Personnel. I got mine thanks to my Father being a Deputy Sheriff. At the range this carbine is spot on accurate, also the recoil is almost non-existant thanks to the low caliber round in comparison to a regular rifle round. Also it is quite light in comparison to most rifles i have. If you have the means, i suggest trying one out.

Same idea as the Kel-tec sub guns? _________________ The harm that you do your foe must be such that you need not fear his reprisal. -Niccolo Machiavelli

Yes, Similar idea but im not a fan of the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Rifle. While the idea of the Sub 2000 being able to accept a large variety of different handgun mags is nice i just worry about the reliability of it. It seems to flimsy. But i must say i shouldn't judge it to hard since i haven't gotten the chance to take one to the range and go through its paces.

For all around ammo versatility, I really like the Contender series of rifle/pistols. They're only single shots, but with a click and a twist, you can go from .22 rimfire, to .44 magnum, to .308 rifle round. And they're nothing if not accurate. _________________ The harm that you do your foe must be such that you need not fear his reprisal. -Niccolo Machiavelli

Which the Kel-Tec or the Ruger? Cause i know Ruger makes you prove active-duty status with a law enforcement agency to buy the Carbine. _________________ ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
